Take me
Caress me
Soft ascension
To your retention
I'm tired of
Slowly rotting away
Take me as I'm asleep or
Take me while I'm awake
Take me as I'm asleep or
Take me while I'm awake
I'm afraid
I'm afraid to live
I'm tired of
Slowly rotting away
Take me as I'm asleep or
Take me while I'm awake
Take me as I'm asleep or
Take me while I'm awake
I'm afraid
I'm afraid to live
If there's ever
Been any will
Strength or ambition
It's long gone, long gone
Shred me in your jaws
Destroy my whole being
Make me vanish
In an eternal dream
Tears of psyche spreading and growing
Signs of life wildly ouflowing
Manifest of destroying it all
Answering infinity's call
Take me as I'm asleep or
Take me while I'm awake
I'm afraid
I'm afraid to live
For a while I've played
With this scene in my mind
To go to a place which has
Untainted memories left behind
To lay weary eyes on something
Pure and unvile
To reminisce all that
What is soon left behind
To be surrounded only
By the sound of the trees and the lake
And have something beautiful
To take with me
Knowing that any amount of beauty in the world
Couldn't mislead me from this plan
And to swim as far as I can
'Till I'm all out of strenght
Taking my last breath
In the bittersweet sunset
As lungs fill with liquid
Of unfiltered scent
I'm finally at home
Finally home where I can rest

"So, here are 2 songs worth of new material for free.
We we're in quite a pinch in last year's August. A change of guitarist, some personal issues among us other members and an overall feeling of things going downhill. I don't believe we would have quit completely even if things would have gone even worse, but future seemed pretty bleak for a while. Luckily, we had some motivation and energy left to keep rehearsing and pushing things through, so we decided to record and release these two songs in a DIY manner to give us more time to write the next physical release and show that the band is still alive to those who have shown interest in our material. We are also planning to start doing gigs again ASAP but well, it's on a planning stage and more info on that will come when there's something more concrete to tell about.
Some notes about the themes of the lyrics from Pyry.
"Take me" was written pretty soon after writing the material of the debut EP somewhere in 2015. Basically it's an invitation for death to come and well... take me, written in a romantic tone in which death is depicted as a dominant lover that takes all the pain away once and for all. I was recovering from a pretty harsh substance abuse binge when writing the lyrics and were pretty sure I wouldn't live past the year, but life can be surprising sometimes.
"Message" is a depiction of my latest and hopefully last suicide plan I had during 2017 from May to September. I had burnt myself out with drinking and other recreational activities again, and felt that I'd probably never get real joy from living and from other people again because of scrambling my brain so badly. Somehow I still managed to lure out the motivation to get sober again in the beginning of September, and after a week or two of sobriety I wrote this song and that got the plan out of my system. I spiraled back to scrambling my brain again at the New Year's Eve and didn't stop until the end of July, but luckily this time I made progress within myself in many ways, even with all the partying and numbing, and I've realized that if I want to fully recover, I just can't afford to mess with my head anymore in any way, ever.
So, in the future material there is a good chance of having a wider variety of lyrical themes than suicide plans, symptoms of substance abuse and other jolly good fun, and the other members have also started to write lyrics, which will bring a good amount of variety to my self-centered whining.
Hopefully you will enjoy it."
